2. Verification of Uploaders

Before any listing is published, every uploader is also required to:
- Confirm, by accepting the platform agreement, that the uploader (or, in the case of an agency listing, the individual depicted) is at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Confirm, by accepting the platform agreement, that the uploader has the legal right to perform sex work in New Zealand
- Where the listing is created by an agency on behalf of an individual, confirm that explicit consent has been obtained from that individual to publish their profile
- Complete phone verification of the contact number associated with the listing
- Agree to the Muse Escorts Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Content Guidelines, and Anti-Trafficking and Exploitation Policy
Muse Escorts may, at its discretion, require an uploader to provide a copy of a government issued photo identity document (such as a passport or driver licence) showing date of birth, or to complete an additional identity or age verification check performed by a third party verification service, as a condition of continued listing. Profiles for which requested identity documents or third party verification checks are not completed are unpublished or removed from the website.
3. Records held by Muse Escorts
For the purpose of platform safety, identity verification, and cooperation with New Zealand law enforcement, Muse Escorts retains the following records in respect of each verified uploader:
- The verification photograph submitted at the time of verification
- Date and timestamp of verification, and the outcome of verification review
- Any government issued photo identity document obtained, or any record of completion of a third party identity or age verification check, where Muse Escorts has required one under section 2 above
- Account contact details and audit logs of profile activity
- The acceptance record (date, timestamp, account identifier) of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and the platform agreement
These records are retained as identity and safety records under New Zealand law and our Data Retention & Deletion Policy. They are not maintained as records of a producer under 18 U.S.C. §2257; producer records, where applicable, are the responsibility of the uploader. Muse Escorts records are stored securely in compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and accessed only for identity verification, platform safety, lawful disclosure, and operator compliance with applicable law.
