Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Policy

Muse Escorts is committed to preventing human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and any form of coercion on our platform.

Last updated: February 2026

Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance for human trafficking, exploitation, or coercion of any kind. Suspected cases are reported to NZ Police immediately.

1. Our Commitment

Muse Escorts operates as an advertising directory for consenting adults who choose to provide professional services voluntarily and legally in New Zealand. We have zero tolerance for:

  • Human trafficking in any form
  • Sexual exploitation or coercion
  • Forced labour or debt bondage
  • Recruitment, harbouring, or control of individuals for the purpose of exploitation
  • Any involvement of persons under 18 years of age
  • Exploitation of vulnerable individuals, including those with impaired decision-making capacity

2. How We Prevent Exploitation

2.1 Provider Screening

All service providers must:

  • Self-declare that they are operating voluntarily and independently
  • Confirm they are 18 years of age or older
  • Confirm they hold valid legal rights to perform sex work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, permanent resident, or residence class visa holder)
  • Submit photo verification to confirm they are the person in their listing
  • Agree to our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and this Anti-Trafficking Policy

2.2 Content Monitoring

We actively monitor for indicators of trafficking and exploitation, including:

  • Listings that appear to be managed by a third party without the provider's knowledge or consent
  • Multiple listings sharing the same contact details, photos, or language patterns suggesting third-party control
  • Language suggesting the provider is not in control of their own listing, pricing, or availability
  • Indicators of recent arrival (e.g., "just arrived," "here for a short time") combined with non-NZ nationality, which may suggest immigration violations
  • Signs of underage involvement or vulnerability

2.3 Platform Design

Our platform is designed to support provider autonomy:

  • Providers control their own profiles, pricing, availability, and contact information
  • Providers can deactivate or delete their listings at any time without penalty
  • We do not require exclusivity — providers are free to advertise on any platform
  • We do not take commission on services — we charge a flat advertising fee only
  • We do not facilitate bookings, payments for services, or communications between parties
