1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted material (photographs, text, video, or other content) has been uploaded to our platform without your authorisation, you may submit a takedown request.
1.1 How to Submit a Takedown Request
Send an email to support@museescorts.co.nz with the following information:
- Your full name and contact information (email and phone number)
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The URL(s) or escort listing number(s) where the infringing content appears on our platform
- Proof of ownership (e.g., original files with metadata, photographer credit, registration, or a link to your original publication)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
2. Our Response Process
Acknowledgement: We acknowledge receipt of your takedown request as soon as reasonably practicable.
Review and action: We review the request without undue delay and, if valid, remove or disable access to the infringing content.
Notification: We notify the listing owner that content has been removed due to a copyright claim, and provide them with the option to submit a counter-notice.
3. Counter-Notices
If your content has been removed due to a copyright takedown and you believe the removal was in error or that you have authorisation to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to support@museescorts.co.nz containing:
- Your full name and contact information
- Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared
- A signed statement that the information in your counter-notice is accurate, and that you understand providing false information may constitute an offence under the Crimes Act 1961
- Evidence of your right to use the material (e.g., licence, model release, proof of creation)
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will notify the original complainant. If the original complainant does not pursue legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the content.
4. Repeat Infringers
We maintain a repeat infringer policy. Users who receive multiple valid copyright complaints will face:
First Offence
Content removal and written warning
Second Offence
Temporary account suspension (30 days)
Third Offence
Permanent account termination with no refund of fees
5. Stolen Identity / Photo Theft
The escort industry frequently experiences photo theft, where one person uses another person's photographs to create a fake listing. This is both a copyright issue and a fraud/safety issue.
If you are a service provider and your photos are being used by someone else on our platform:
- Submit a takedown request as described above
- Additionally report the listing via our Report page (select "Stolen Photos / Identity Theft")
- We prioritise these reports and act on them as soon as reasonably practicable
We take photo theft extremely seriously as it undermines trust and safety for all users.
