How listings are ordered
Available now first, then verified and active, then everyone else. The order rotates daily and nothing paid overrides filters.
Nobody buys their way to the top of a Muse listing. The order on every city page comes from three things you control, and it rotates every day so each profile gets its turn near the top.
The order
- Available now. Profiles with the Available now switch on, and escorts touring in that city right now.
- Verified and active. Verified profiles with activity in the last 30 days. Every new profile also sits here for its first 7 days.
- Everyone else.
- Quiet and unverified. Profiles that are not verified and have had no activity for 90 days.
Inside each group the order shuffles once a day, at midnight New Zealand time. Over a month every profile in a group spends the same amount of time at the top.
What counts as activity
- Adding a new photo.
- Saving your hours.
- Adding a tour.
- Switching on Available now.
- Getting verified.
Editing text does not count on its own, so there is no need to re-save your profile just to move up.
Filters come first
When a visitor filters by suburb, service, or Verified, the filter is applied before any ordering. Nothing pushes a profile into results it does not match.
The quickest way up
Get verified. It takes about three minutes, and a verified profile that stays active sits in the second group every day instead of the third. Switch on Available now when you are working and you move to the first group for that hour.
