Go offline (Off Today, Take Offline)
Disappear from the directory for a day or for a longer break.
Sometimes you need to disappear from the directory for a day, a week, or longer. Muse has two buttons for this and they do different things.

Off Today
At the top right of Edit Profile, click Off Today. Your listing keeps showing in the directory, but it shows as offline / unavailable for the rest of today. At the next day's rollover (midnight in NZ time) it reverts to your normal availability automatically.
Use this when something comes up: you are sick, double-booked, or just done for the day. You do not need to do anything else; it switches back tomorrow on its own.
Take Offline
At the top right of Edit Profile, click Take Offline. Your listing is removed from the public directory immediately. It stays hidden until you come back to this page and publish again.
Use this for longer breaks: travel, time off, or a pause from working. Your data stays put — photos, services, pricing, schedule — so when you are ready to come back, you click Publish at the top of the same page and you are live again within a few minutes. Nothing has to be re-entered.
Which one to use
- One day off → Off Today
- A few days, a week, or longer → Take Offline, then Publish when you come back
What clients see
With Off Today, your listing still shows up in directory results but with an "offline" or "unavailable today" tag. Your contact details are still on the page. Clients can still message you for tomorrow.
With Take Offline, your listing does not show up in directory results at all. Anyone with a direct bookmark to your URL sees a not-found page. You are completely invisible until you publish again.
