Publish, unpublish, and take offline

Off Today, Take Offline, and how to come back online.

There are two ways to disappear from the public listings. Mark yourself off for one day with Off Today, or step away for longer with Take Offline. Both can be undone and neither deletes any of your data.

How to mark yourself off for today

  1. From your dashboard, open Edit Profile.
  2. In the top toolbar, click Off Today.
  3. Your listing stays in the public listings but shows as off for the rest of the day.
  4. It reverts automatically at midnight NZ time. Nothing else to do.

The Off Today button only shows when your profile is Live.

How to take your profile offline

  1. Open Edit Profile from your dashboard.
  2. In the top toolbar, click Take Offline.
  3. Confirm in the dialog that pops up.
  4. Your listing is removed from the public listings straight away. Photos, services, pricing, and schedule are kept exactly as they were.

Take Offline only shows when your profile is Live. Once offline, your status moves to Draft.

How to come back online

  1. Open Edit Profile.
  2. In the top toolbar, click Publish.
  3. Your listing goes live again within a few minutes. Nothing to re-enter.

Publish only shows when your profile is in Draft.

Which one to use

  • One day off, use Off Today.
  • A few days, a week, or longer, use Take Offline and Publish again when you are ready.

What clients see

With Off Today, your listing still appears in search results but shows as off for today. Your contact details stay on the page, so clients can still message you for tomorrow.

With Take Offline, your listing does not appear in search results at all. Anyone with a direct bookmark to your URL will not see your profile. You are invisible until you publish again.
